It gets a little overwhelming when there’s so much choice, doesn’t it? So many styles to choose from, so many things to add to your wardrobe. The “must-have” list keeps getting longer and longer. That’s how it was  for me when I started shopping for transitional coats for this season. I’ve had a few from last seasons but I don’t really remember when it was last time I shopped for coats. I am a type of person who needs to see all my options first before making a decision. Nerd alert! That’s why I’ve made a list of all the styles available (at least I’ve tried) and shopped similar items afterwards. read more

the BASICS | Leather leggings

5

In the last couple of weeks I’ve been getting a request after request about how to style leather leggings. I personally LOVE it myself and wear it almost everyday for work, casual (and business) lunches, date nights, movie nights, etc. You name it! The only place where I haven’t wore my leather leggings at yet is the gym because, I’m thinking, it could be a little uncomfortable to wear it during a workout. Although if you are unwilling to part with them for even couple of hours (totally sounds like me) and if your leggings are fabric ones with leather inserts it might just work out fine. read more

Athleisure | Fall edit

Today instead of giving advices on how to wear this and that I wanted to talk about something unrelated to an outfit post instead, and related at the same time. I wanted to talk about the importance of giving yourself a time-off, even if it is from work that happened to be your favorite thing in the world. That is where it gets tricky, actually.

Judging from my own experience, most of the time I am so into shooting, editing photos, creating new blog posts, Intagramming, Snapchatting, planning outfits etc. time just flies by and sometimes I can find myself being so overwhelmed by the end of the day that I barely have any energy left for a workout or some housework. It is still not the worse scenario though. Couple of times I found myself being depressed and uninspired. How can I fall out of love with the only thing I know how to do best and that keeps me going in this life? Of course, it only happened because I was a little more stressed out than usual. Sure thing I figured it out pretty fast (thanks to four years of psychology classes in college). But that was an emergency time-out. If I didn’t take it back than, maybe I wouldn’t be blogging now. read more

Time to get serious

1

The weather is getting colder and the colors outside and on the blog are getting darker. I was a little worried about the Fall season since it is my first as a fashion blogger. So many things to figure out, main question being how to shoot in colder weather? Well, same as in Summer and Spring – you take your camera outside and you shoot. That being said, I only had an accident once so far. My camera fell down because of the strong wind. Fortunately it landed on the side and didn’t damage the lens. Only few scratches. Phew! But I am not taking any more chances and will be using a heavier tripod next time, avoiding windy days as much as  I can. read more
