White is the new black (for summer only)

Black will always be my favorite color but for summer when days are getting longer and hotter I want something light and bright and although I’ll have occasional pop of color (baby blue or beige, not exactly a lot of pop thought if you know what I mean) white is the color of my choice. I am not trying to be on the “safe” side choosing the color that you cannot go wrong with but prints have never been my favorites. Simplicity that brings up all your good sides is always in fashion! Those cotton pants and linen top are new addiction to my wardrobe and to be honest I don’t remember when I got so exited about clothes (I mean I always do but this was way too exciting). I absolutely ADORE this outfit! It’s light, it’s simple, you can either wear it with heels for a fancy look or…

Beige but not boring

Beige is a very basic color that works very well with all colors. Just imagine outfits like blue jeans and beige sweater (always a winner combination), or beige pants and white shirt (for a boss lady look that is not over the top). But what if you want to wear all beige and how to style it so it is not boring? It is easier to master than you think. Just follow those three guidelines and you sure will make it work.   SHADES OF BEIGE Choose up to three shades of beige. You dress can be light beige, clutch in a darker shade and shoes the darkest or vice versa. In my outfit the dress and shoes are exactly the same color so I needed something that would stand out but at the same time complement the outfit and the bag worked perfectly for that task. PATTERNS Either it’s a pattern on your dress, shoes or bag but you should at least have…

Fabulous sunglasses wardrobe and how to build it

Show me a nice pair of shoes and I will most likely buy it but when it comes to accessories (especially sunglasses) I get so picky I even surprise myself. It takes me months to choose something I like and more months to actually buy it but once I do I will wear it for years. Those are all my beloved pieces that I carefully chose, bought for special occasions and wear with pride and joy. They are very dear to me not only for style but also for good memories. You can also look at it as part of a core wardrobe. Once you have those four pairs you can add to your collection and you will know what to wear it with because they simply fall to this four categories. SOMETHING CLASSY This pair is a must-have because 1. it goes well with anything from jeans and t-shirt (adding chic to your outfit) to an…

Spring is in the air

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous last week so I spent as much time outside as full-time blogging permits – taking pictures for blog posts, checking new spots for future photoshoots and just hanging out. This outfits yet simple but super comfortable (thanks to this wedges) is ideal for running all my errands. If you’ve been following me for awhile you probably know that I don’t like a lot of details in my outfits. It has to be simple but to the point. Another thing is that it has to be comfortable. I can tolerate some degree of “uncomfortable” if  shoes/dress/etc. is too beautiful not to wear and the event is worth it but if I have a busy day ahead of me those wedges and wrinkle free pants with a simple t-shirt is going to be the win. WHITE TEE Plain white t-shirt is indispensable piece of clothing in any wardrobe – man’s or woman’s. You should…

Suit up and wear it with confidence

The second biggest fear is public speaking apparently. I cannot tell you where I’ve heard it from exactly but must’ve been one of the TED talks. I would also add that we spend half of our time (if not more) thinking what others think of us and it is a huge obstacle to overcome when coming out of your comfort zone. Being afraid of someone’s disapproval can prevent you from achieving a lot of things. Even when people say they don’t care about what others might think about them they more or less do anyways. That’s why I love blogging so much. It definitely makes me get out of MY comfort zone a lot. I’ve just started as a fashion blogger but it didn’t take long to realize that most of the work (if not all) I would have to do by myself and it is all good fun but the hardest part is the work on myself.…
