Have you been enjoying your first few weeks of Spring? I definitely have although the weather here is so indecisive. The day I was shooting this post it called for UGG boots and warm sweaters and the day before that wearing sandals and rompers would be an appropriate outfit for the day. Anyhow just the fact that it is Spring makes me feel a little warmer even if it's 40F outside and I'm only wearing t-shirt and leather jacket.
It has been a year since I've started this blog and what a journey it has been!
It has only been a year but it feels like I've been doing it my whole life and just started two days ago at the same time. In other words - a little confusing in a good way. There's still a lot to learn, a lot to work on, a lot to achieve but the firsts steps are always the hardest ones. Every morning I remind myself that it is those small steps that lead to big accomplishments.
January and February are my favorite months to shop for basic winter clothes - either it is a wool sweater, a sweater dress or a winter coat. All the retailers are trying to get rid off their winter stuff and get ready for Spring hence all the sales.
Of course, if you want something trendy during Fall/Winter season and absolutely cannot wait for the sales to start it's no harm (except for your wallet maybe) but if you are shopping for basics it is your time!
From my experience my skin has different needs depending on the season - what works perfectly well for me during summer won't necessarily work for my skin during colder seasons. I think it is true to every girl out there unless you are among the lucky ones who won a gene lottery and happen to inherit perfect skin no matter the weather. Nonetheless it is always best to take care of your skin than totally rely on mother nature. Bad choices tend to catch up with us later on.
