It has only been a year but it feels like I've been doing it my whole life and just started two days ago at the same time. In other words - a little confusing in a good way. There's still a lot to learn, a lot to work on, a lot to achieve but the firsts steps are always the hardest ones. Every morning I remind myself that it is those small steps that lead to big accomplishments.
On several occasions I've almost cried (who am I kidding, I DID cry) because I couldn't figure out the settings on my camera or a specific coding for a blog post (because I wanted it to look a certain way), etc. I got out of my comfort zone a lot, stopped being shy in front of the camera in a public place. Overall I learned a lot in that past year. The most important lesson of all - to NEVER EVER give up and if it gets a little frustrating - concentrate on the result instead of all the things that don't go the way you want them to go.
All those examples are more on a personal side of the matter though. As for blogging itself I do want to share some wisdom I gathered in the past 12 months. Maybe it will inspire someone else out there to continue or start blogging...
Is there life for fancy outwear after all New Year celebrations are done? Turns out there is! You just need to be a little creative about it. As promised last week I am showing you guys how to do it. Aside from cocktail dresses normally I would wear this coat with jeans and high heels which is pretty simple and basic but thanks to Anna (my wonderful manager and co-worker) she made me realize that it doesn't have to be jeans only. This coat works perfectly well for athleisure outfits. Just add sneakers.
From my experience my skin has different needs depending on the season - what works perfectly well for me during summer won't necessarily work for my skin during colder seasons. I think it is true to every girl out there unless you are among the lucky ones who won a gene lottery and happen to inherit perfect skin no matter the weather. Nonetheless it is always best to take care of your skin than totally rely on mother nature. Bad choices tend to catch up with us later on.
I've been dying to photoshoot this faux fur coat since the day I first laid my eyes on it and bought it about a month and a half ago. It is such a beautiful coat and you definitely can rely on it even during the coldest weather. I know. I tried! As fancy as it looks don't let it intimidate you! You can either dress it up or down depending on your outfit of the moment.
It gets a little overwhelming when there's so much choice, doesn't it? So many styles to choose from, so many things to add to your wardrobe. The "must-have" list keeps getting longer and longer. That's how it was for me when I started shopping for transitional coats for this season. I've had a few from last seasons but I don't really remember when it was last time I shopped for coats. I am a type of person who needs to see all my options first before making a decision...
